Sure. Let's call them Blue and Red. As long as we are refering to "Red" as the short one with BLUE "eye" and "Blue" is the tall one with the ORANGE "eye"...

Just don't call me Shirley.

I want to know what map that pic in the post is from. It looks like "River" but that car he is shooting at looks out of place. Not that it matters...

@ jacksy Wow. Nice contribution to the thread. Stay classy.

Wait, you know, that wasn't fair for me to say that. What else should Joystiq and the forums expect from someone that has "HE PUT IT IN MY ASS" in their avatar picture?

Interview: Insomniac Games' Ted Price on going multiplatform, EA Partners

Sorry for the double post...

@ Windmill

Thank you for the first half of your comment so I can move on to the post.

Thank you for posting the interview, great stuff and looking to hear more about Insomniac.

For me, my first console I owned was a Gamecube so I could own and finally play every CONSOLE Zelda game (I picked up a Gameboy Player so I could play A Link to the Past). Sure, I had friends with PS1's/PS2's, but there was a connection - and substantial time investment - I had with the Zelda series that was more than the "power" the competition brought. My next console was a Wii, again, so I could play the SAME FRIGGIN' game (Twilight Princess) but with Link right-handed. Good times...

When looking/debating between a 360 and a PS3 a year ago it was a toss up because most of the games were released on both consoles. In the end it came down to what my friends were playing on so we could share games, online, etc. and, for me, that happened to be the 360. Yeah the PS3 has more power, longer cycle (*TBD), Blu Ray, and everything else, but the CONNECTION with friends tipped the scale to the 360. Oh yeah, price didn't hurt either. What's really unfortunate is that I got a Blu-Ray player for Christmas (wait, how is that unfortunate? Keep reading...) but was able to return it for store credit and "upgraded" to the PS3 for NO OTHER REASON than it only cost me $85 out of pocket to have a blu-ray player that plays the exclusives I was missing. Now don't get me wrong, Uncharted, inFamous and Ratchet and Clank are all incredibly fantastic games (tips hat to Drake, Cole, Ratchet), but IN MY OPINION so is Batman Arkham Asylum, Assassin’s Creed and Bioshock all of which I are/were original IP, single player games that were multiplatform and I was able to borrow from a friend before spending any money myself having already invested in Gears, Mass Effect and Left 4 Dead. Advantage multiplatform.

The ONLY part I don't like about this split is that Ratchet stays with Sony. Being a new member of the Ratchet and Clank fanclub it makes me sad to think Insomniac won't be able to do something like Sony did with the God of War franchise and put out a Ratchet and Clank: Collection. As someone that loves established franchises (remember, Zelda, Gameboy Player, right-handed Link) it makes me sad inside to think that day would never come. Actually, it makes me sad inside and out. A LOT.

So, yeah, in the end, I glad for the move specifically so I can share the Insomniac games to come with my 360 brethren, but indifferent the rest of the way because I am very fortunate not to have to worry about what console has an exclusive... a luxury I know a lot of gamers don't have.
