@lonecow He saves the one in Duke Burger who was sitting on a box keeping away from the electrified water on the ground. But yeah the rest he had to euthanize.

@mbarriault Yeah EA used to go to aspyr for ports for those games but not any more... they now use cider. Aspyr never has though.

@jshannon00 Actually they did have that texture in MK1 it's just the cameras they used to film them where so low res that it got mostly lost after shooting\digitizing.

Steve Jobs in video tour of the first Apple Store

When I heard him say "You can just walk up to them and start using them for whatever you like" it made me think of all those people who dance at apple stores and I thought it would be funny if he said "Like dancing" and did a couple of dance moves to demonstrate ;)

Also it's interesting to see how much their focus has shifted since that introduction and stuff they say there doesn't necessarily apply today like he was saying we have these shelves and we'll make more for all the software you'll make for us. And look at all these games and it looked like practically half the shelf space was devoted to games. He mentioned games quite a few times actually.

OK, so why does this not mention PC when it's clearly included in the press release? Also I guess this isn't in HD which is dissapointing.

Duke Nukem Forever digital manual refers to Apple's App Store

May 10th 2011 3:15PM (TUAW.com)
Borderlands PC is on Steam but doesn't use Steamworks for its multiplayer or anything. It uses Gamespy which was replacable with Gameranger on the Mac. It's a different situation. The difference being Bordrelands only uses Steam for distribution but Duke Nukem Forever uses it for multiplayer, community features, achievements, updates, etc.
