Until they bring back Predator mode and a challenge-course friendly map editor, I'm out on this series. It honestly makes me sad to see they went this route.

I actually haven't gotten around to DA's DLC quests yet :3 I'm more speaking on general terms for game DLC that comes out shortly after release, which I usually find lacking. I know this has also been argued to death, but in my opinion, if it's day 1 release content it should have been on the disc, or be really substantial. Perhaps it's just me being all nostalgic for long delays, but big expansions like we used to get.

Oh, and the other-other side to this is we, the consumers, have to eventually figure out that the more we pay for stuff we don't completely support (horse armor LOL), the more we cement in the minds of publishers that we can be bilked for anything.

I don't think the answer here is black and white. Publishers should stop releasing sub-par DLC on release day and just have it on the damn disc (unlocked), but GameStop should know that they are currently deceiving parents and gift-givers into buying a product that is not "complete" for a meager 5 dollar discount. I'd bet you my bottom dollar that if you ask a GS employee if a used copy of Dragon Age is the same as a new copy, they'll say yes. And that is just plain wrong.

Sort of like Machinae Supremacy who use the SID chip from Commodore 64 to put in very gamey feels to many of their songs, as well their game-referencing lyrics. Try "The Great Gianna Sisters" you can fast forward through the intro, which is just straight game music clips.
