One thing to consider. We made it so nearly the entire game fits on one screen at a time. No scrolling lists. The exception to this is the News items, and the Mission log.

Yes the iPad has a bigger screen and we could of combined some screens, but we wanted to keep the experience consistent. This will be extremely important in future updates to Warpgate. (We've got one in review now and another on the way).
We wanted to update the game to show a passage of time with a more modern jet.
When we looked back on this, to do it all over again, we would of stuck with a jet from the movie.
If you play the game, it takes place years after the movie with Maverick and Iceman as instructors. (If you watch the movie, the top Pilot in the Top Gun program is invited back to be an instructor).
