I can only play umk3 offline because there are so many infinite combo loops. the disparity of skill online is ridiculous. I hope more highly competitive 1v1 games take a note from starcraft 2's leagues and ladders system. it works great.

DI wasn't bad as many people said, but I wouldn't say it was better than GoW3 by a long shot. If you liked one more than the other it could have been because of the difference in setting which DI did really well at with all the different themed circles of hell, but gameplay wise GoW3 was a lot better imo.

too many good games is a good reason. but just because they up and decided to randomly include brink in the enemy territory line up is. I personally never made any connections between the two until now so it's kind of silly.

This and your other post are the most asinine things I've heard all day. I just played the demo in DX9 (that's all that's currently available in the demo) and it looks noticeable better than Crysis 1. Once the full game is out with DX11 it will look stunning and even that much better than it's predecessor. As for the plot, umm okay? I never said I played it for the story or for it's plot. I said I played it for the single player, which was loads of fun. It's as simple as that. All that aside the game feels and plays nothing like any Call of Duty game I've ever played. The fact people are even comparing them is laughable. "It has killstreaks so it must plays like Call of Duty!" Is about the lamest and only remote comparison I can see anyone logically make. My only complain about the demo was the lack of a hardcore TDM style game variant, but I'm sure the full game will have one. Well, that and the lack of graphics options, but it seems they just ported the console demo for some reason so I'm not to worried about that reflecting the final game. The demo impressed me in more ways than it disappointed that's for sure. The sound of bullets in the distance and the occasional sniper shot, along with ally NPC chatter really made me feel like I was on the front lines of a war. On top of that the music is very well done. Aside from the sound the movement and gameplay in general is great. like with all games it takes getting used too though. Lastly, while it's not a huge deal I have to say the menus are very well done. I like them a lot. Now if only I could run it a bit more smoothly.

No one I know played Crysis 1 for the multi, so your "most developers" comment is wrong in this case. Sure they put extra effort into the multi this time. But the selling point is still the single player.

EL OH EL, at people judging Crysis 2 by the multiplayer. Clearly they don't know where the game's priorities lie.
