Tiger Woods 09, SBK08 demos hit Xbox Live

I would love a superbike demo. I race em (road course, not drag racing) and can't wait to see MotoGP 09.

Honda RR FTW

This is the genius that stated HD-DVD is the only viable format.

So of course the XB360 is a huge flop, do they even sell them in America? (Don't slip in the sarcasm)

What a sad little man, probably from Alabama.

Fuel for debate: More E3 'best of' award winners announced

I don't think that's the case. I love platformers dearly, but there hasn't been a big evolution in them in years and years, and with co-op, level creator, community aspects etc it looks like this will be phenomenal. A game I actually buy for my PS3, a miracle.

Where's my new Sly Cooper in 4d?

Joystiq E3 hands-on: Wii Music

I'm not angry, I just think you're more than a bit of a fraud and a hypocrite.

You make statements about how silly it is to measure how much 'fun' a game is by how 'hardcore' it is, and that is absolutely true. I wouldn't call 'Space Invaders' hardcore but it definitely fun.

But then you blast FPSes for being shallow - yeah, they are - but they are fun. The music genre, which I really like, is fun. You get a facimile of successfully playing a rock instrument, which most people I think imagine at some point, and that's fun.

You always whine and moan about the lack of innovation in the industry, but look at what Harmonix's games have done (I've been playing them since Amplitude). Guitar Hero was a huge innovation (I'm not familiar w/Guitar Freaks, so if I'm not crediting them my apologies), DDR was a huge innovation in gameplay mechanics and genre, and even GH on the DS is a nifty little idea.

The music genre has brought a whole new audience into gaming, and that happened because the game was fun to play. There's nothing wrong with that, just as the DS brought in a whole new audience with new genres.

Playing music (or prentending to) is fun, shooting things from a first person perspective is fun - that's why the former genre has exploded and the latter is perpetually popular.

I like to see innovation in games, and yes, I think the music genre will eventually become a white noise of peripherals and titles (that's another topic); but in the end, when I've spent 30 min to several hours playing a game the only thing that matters is 'did I have fun?'. And a game does not have to be 'hardcore', 'casual' or innovative to accomplish that.

When a great, innovative idea for a game becomes a hit the audience will expand. You can't have it both ways Bowser; a wonderful innovative industry that you can also keep to yourself.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe adds a killing Joker

Superman is awesome - just needs the right villans for a great story (like any hero), it's just hard because he's basically invincible. He's iconic - even Batman looks up to him in most continuity. Seeing him get wrecked in a MK game? Meh, kinda stupid.

They should put in Darkseid, Zod, Doomsday, and Brainiac.

Dude, I respect your opinion when it comes to GOW. What the heck is people's problem with the Lancer - it's the default weapon for crying out loud!

Anyway, looks like run n gun is out for the sequel - running at someone w/ a shotgun will make you slow down as you get shot - so it looks like the emphasis is squarely on cover and teamwork.

Here's what I find people say on GOW:
Lancers are gay
Boomshot is for noobs
Host shotgun
Sniping is cheap

That pretty much leaves smoke grenades as the only fair weapon.

We gotta play some night tho - look me up on Live (GilGalad08)

Kind of like the piece of shit ps2 that had 'disc read error' on 33% of its' units?

That was Sony though so it couldn't possibly be bad.

Microsoft confirms: Xbox 360 60GB for $349, 20GB now at $299

Well, Bowser, since Dishwasher was available as a long demo when the XNA option was added to XB Live I did in fact play it. And it is a gem - Viewtiful Joe meets Ninja Gaiden (2d) - ask Fenix, he's played it too.

'Level of content'? OK, I am going to type s l o w l y so that you understand. 'Level of content' means the 'amount of content'. Or degree: a position on a scale of intensity or amount or quality (wordnet.princeton.edu). So, to clarify, the amount of quality content found in the current gen games I mentioned was never seen on the DC (no knock on the DC, one of my favorite consoles). Could you follow that?

I wasn't aware that I was pulling titles out of my ass since I am part of and follow the industry - people in the know are aware of the games I mentioned.

Angry little man? Not quite, I just have a low tolerance for psuedo self important idiots. If you think your pattern of personal insults followed by a wide-eyed "Oh, I just thought we were having a discussion" isn't transparent then you are woefully mistaken.

Don't enter a battle of wits unarmed, Bowser. Your tender 22 years or so is neither a foundation for knowledge or acumen. Quite frankly, you are a sad little boy.
