I think the size is perfect. Big is not bad especially if the thing has gravitas to it's feeling. Not everyone is ok with tiny electronics, My DSlite hurts my hand because of its small size playing games on my phone or ipod touch is stressful to my joints, the psp is about the only handheld console that doesn't cause me pain to play since the GB advance
