Civilization 5: Gods and Kings finds religion, release date on June 19

Apr 5th 2012 11:21AM (Joystiq)
I'm sorry, but the diplomacy in EVERY Civ game ever has been terrible. I don't expect this expansion to actually improve anything.

Your guide to Mass Effect 3's Kinect voice commands

Feb 23rd 2012 3:22PM (Joystiq)

Testing Kinect in Mass Effect 3 (plus, demo coming February 14) [update: more demo details]

"In the heat of battle, it'd be great to just yell "Get down!" to your crew, sending them running for the nearest bit of cover. You can tell "James" to "attack," but it would be more fun to say "Kill that guy, James!" or "open fire!" and trust that he'll do it."

This is exactly why Siri seems so neat (even though it doesn't always work well). It takes a huge step in contextual understanding which is what's needed here.

Jan 13th 2012 4:51PM (Joystiq)
I haven't listened to the Joystiq podcast since the new show, but I'm going to give it another go. I used to love the old Xbox360Fancast.
