It's a shame that such a seemingly solid game sold so poorly, but absolutely nothing I saw convinced me that Shadows of the Damned was worth $60. They either needed to seriously ramp up the marketing, or start the game at a lower price point to begin with. Also, I had no idea that Child of Eden was even a retail title until I read this article.
I am so getting Chime and PixelJunkShooter. I actually picked up Shank this weekend for $5, but I haven't played it much. For anyone on the fence, Scott Pilgrim is absolutely incredible, probably one of my favorite games of last year. And I played it without having seen the movie or read the comics.
This is more or less retaliation against Radiohead for not signing back to EMI for In Rainbows. They've been doing things like this ever since Radiohead announced that the record would be released on TBD.
I'm happy to say that I'm one of the people who contributed to this. I bought a MacBook last month, to replace my slightly over-the-hill HP laptop. Couldn't be happier to have finally made the switch.
