I believe I have a solution. Same controls as RE4, but when you go to aiming mode, the camera joystick becomes movement. So, you can move and aim, but not move and shoot (at least without moving your hands around oddly on the controller).
$3,000 for 2.6 ghz and an 8600? Did you not see the posts above about 2.8 ghz quads and SLI 9800's for $3,000? And did you also not read the above posts about how he is obviously not asking for OSX, because then he would simply want the most powerful Mac laptop, which isn't that hard to figure out, with the hardware monopoly and all.
Perhaps they will release the patch with the new game? It says it is running on an optimized version of the engine, so maybe when the optimizations are done, they can patch Crysis.
If your friend spends money on components every few months, he is in no way knowledgeable about PCs, or he has way too much money to spend, which he could use on games.
I am sorry, but Mac users sound so stupid sometimes. "I can run PC programs on my Mac by using XP". No, you dumb fuck, you are running PC programs on a PC that uses proprietary hardware made by Apple. If you are going to use XP anyway, why waste hundreds of dollars just to run OSX?
