Aug 13th 2008 2:40PM (Joystiq)why dont u go ahead and google or wikipedia DS Lite/Wii hardware problems for a whole list of issues?
and why are you even bringing 360 up? not like im defending its hardware problems.
about PS2 hardware problems, the difference is, Sony addressed the issue and the next batch of hardware shipments had the DVD laser error fixed.
and since you took out the "they have fixed all the issues" card, ill just give you ONE example of the many hardware problems effecting their systems even currently:
http://www.kotaku.com.au/games/2008/01/wha_people_still_get_ds_lite_hinge_cracks-2.html
the above link shows that the significant hardware problem of cracked hinges has STILL not been addressed even in 2008. the problem first popped up in the very first batch of 2006 DS Lite shipments and is STILL affecting systems in 2008. contrary to what Nintendonald's said way back in 2006 ("we have fixed the issue! the cracked hinge is just a cosmetic flaw that doesnt affect gameplay/performance. the reason was an overtightened screw in the hinge") i believe the problem wasnt the screw (although that prolly didnt help matters) but a fatal design flaw that they havent corrected even in 2008 at the factory manufacturing level. and im sure you and your dozen DS Lite owning friends have no issues with your system, but you dont represent the whole worldwide DS Lite owning population.
things such as this influenced me into not upgrading from my DS Phat to a DS Lite, among other reasons.
and finally, like i said before, 'Nintendo' was once hardware king: NES, SNES, N64, GC, all the Gameboys, hell even Virtual Boy had top hardware quality. learn to READ posts before you act like a "Curmeo troll" in your replies.

Aug 8th 2008 5:48PM (Joystiq)it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out K+M would have more accurate controls for ANY type of FPS gameplay, including a "tense tactical shooter". ill try to break it down more simply for you:
RE4 port on PS3 with K+M support will equal far more accurate controls than RE4 with Wiimote. which control scheme would be more fun? thats subjective, but K+M on PS3 wins hands down when it comes to accuracy, and that was my point.
