How soon you masses forget. Time and time again. You forget why and believe in their "new" reasons. Propaganda/lies are so effective.
Oil companies claimed that they weren't making money last year. That they had to increase oil/gasoline costs due to increasing business costs.
Well, obviously they did make money. Lots of money. So they lied to the public. They didn't have to jack up prices to insane levels last year in the U.S. But they did and lied about the reasons to do so. Bait and switch. Hint hint ... we went to Iraq because of WMD ... now it's because of T and H. Whatever. But the public eats it up and you coattail hangers help them along (what benefit do you get? Or are you just trying to feel that you belong by hanging on to governmental/corporate coattails?).
Companies, politicians lie ALWAYS and hurt millions of lives and make them suffer economically and stay in lower classes for generations. They do this over and over again. It's just propaganda but it hurts everyones' lives for many decades.
So, you wannabee economists say. It's just capitalism at work. It's more than that ... it's class subjugation.
The corporations make billions, the politicians make millions and stay in power due to corporate contributions to fund their propaganda campaigns. So you gotta ask yourself what benefit do you get out of this?
TV used to promote Capitalist products/services/images and Governmental propaganda to the masses.
So, yes TV is very important to this government's 2 political party control system and it's economic system.
Techies are mad because they think this will delay the amount of HD resolution programming on their shinny 1080P TVs ... which is true. But, watching commercial laden, "news" laden TV really promotes mind control of the masses. When the economy gets even worse in 1 year and then 2 years and so on. The government needs TV to calm the masses into believing they are making a difference and that the government should spend more money instead of saving money.
If the consumers have no more TV, many may wake up and revolt against our corrupt government. That is not what our government wants.
So, I don't get it. What's the problem with Blizzard charging us $1 each time we log into battlenet. I don't get it? What's the problem charging for a game that is finished but will be cut into 3 pieces and charged at 3 times the price? I don't get it. I mean if Blizzard charges $1,000,0000,00000,000000 for each of the 3 games, it's still worth it. I mean we don't need money and Blizzard a multi-billion dollar company that profited 1000000x over each year for WOW definitely needs more money. But we people don't need or deserve to keep our money.
I mean SC1 was too cheap. I wish it was $100000000000000 to just smell the SC1 box. I mean I don't get it.
Sarcasm aside. Is anyone that dense? Blizzard is basically testing out another way to milk SC fans. If it succeeds you can bet it will get more expensive to play games in the future from all companies. As a consumer, you do NOT want this. Only a fool and his money are soon parted. Only a complete moron would say things like I wish Blizzard charges us more and gives us less. Grow a freakin brain dork.
Blizzard does not need more money. It is doing very very very well profitwise and this is really bad treatment of SC fans. It is utterly disgusting and pure greed. Anyone who can't see that must be inhaling cyanide 24/7.
Another lesson in life: Never reward bad behavior ... because the jerk will just keep pushing it worse.
If you are pissed at Blizzard f-ing up SC2. Don't reward them by buying it 3x. They will know their plan worked and will do it again in the future and keep pushing it.
You have other options: 1. If you love SC1 as a RTS, keep playing that instead. 2. Get a hobby, like exercising, dating, race cars/bikes. 3. DL SC2 free of charge.
Remember, if you down't like Blizzard's actions, don't encourage them buy giving them your money. It will only make them think of other ways to screw with you. Protect your money. Show your disapproval of Blizzard by doing the 3 above actions.
Look at action rather than words. Actions are harder to fake than words. Ever here about propaganda (public lie) and bullshot (blatant lie).
Analysis 1: Statement: Blizzard says they are splitting it up because it takes a long time to finish. Logical Response: If so, why not just take longer to finish it???
Analysis 2: Statement: Blizzard says 3d game animation is the reason why it is taking so long to finish. Logical Response: How can precreated 3d characters take longer to animate versus CGI that takes super computers days to render a few seconds?
This rational thinking can be adapted to any part of life and when you read "news." Look beyond the proganda and the bull and you can predict the future with high degree of accuracy.
And, when you do so, you will realize SC2 is f'd.
Of course, some refuse to accept reality but that's their problem ... because they will get lied and taken advantage of their whole lives and they will get angry when other people grow up and don't fall for propaganda. Some of these kids tell us: "I don't know why we don't hand over our life savings to Blizzard ... I mean we shouldn't complain ... we are not allowed to voice our thoughts ... it is the american way to give money to a corporation that is lieing and giving us a poor, watered down product." Sorry kid, I don't do stupid. Good luck in life kid.
1. Male characters named: Swan, Posh, Horny? 2. Original SC1 unit characterics split up into multiple diffent units. 3. Dumbing down multiplayer skillz by making waaay easy to make units, buildings, etc . 4. 1 RTS cut into 3 games charged at 3x the price. 5. Watered down multiplayer unless you wait and buy all 3 parts. 6. Then charging monthly bnet fees. 7. Using ugly ingame 3d animation instead of CGI movies as a way to save costs and give us lower quality. 8. Hire a command and conquer hack to head SC2. 9. Lie about Activision did not influence to be a penga/verga (doing all of the above). 10. Lie some more telling us that this is for our own good!
Remember SC1? 3 races in 1 game. Bnet free. Constantly tweaking to make perfect balance. Gee, SC1 is the perfect RTS. When you screw with perfection, you only go downhill. With SC2, they reached the bottom.
Solution: Play SC1 instead, Stop playing games and find another hobby, Pirate SC2 to deny Blizzard dirty profit.
Swann as in swan song? Tosh??? as in Posh Spice Girls???! Matt Horner??? as in Matt Horny (like a porn actor????
Wat da Fark!!!
In the Original SC we had real touch names that you didn't laugh at, not fairy names.
First they screw up the gameplay by splitting up original SC units into more unnecessary units (e.g., Dragoon into 2 different dragoons). Then they take away terrain elevation advantages by making units that can walk and jump over them--what's the point of getting high ground then???
Gawd, I hate that Sigarty guy. He doesn't even belong on SC2. He made Command and Conquer crap which sucked balls.
2nd, they take away rendered beautiful CGI and give us blocky in game 3d animation instead. And they claim this is the reason why SC2 will take longer to finish and have to charge 3x the price??? Since when is blocky 3d characters harder to animate than CGI rendered movies???? This is pure bull propaganda that they are feeding us.
3rd, they split up 1 game into 3 and charge full price for each. I gaurantee it will be full price by the way they are going about it. Only a blind fanboy or blizzard plant will try to lie to us and hope we forget when they do charge us full price over and over again. Remember, history tends to repeat itself ... people have weak memories ... never learn so many will fall for Blizz's lie.
4th, multiplayer will be incomplete and watered down until all 3 games come out and you will have to pay for all 3 games to play all 3 races. $150-$180 for a RTS??? But that's not all the money it will take, read below.
5th, they are talking about monetizing battlenet which means ONLY 1 thing. Monthly payments to get onto to battlenet. This is how they reward SC1 players who made it one of the tops selling games ... by charging for battlenet when it used to be free and blizzard had no problems with it before. This ain't no WOW with changing content and chaning characters and items. This is RTS where the units are permanent ... only minor balance tweaking is involved in updates ... which was free in SC1.
They lie about how Activision had no influence on them. Bull. Employees in anonymity mention their management began forcing these new anti-consumer strategies on them to make the Activision merger happen. Which means Activision asked Blizzard to milk SC2 like never before (and hence screw consumers) or else they wouldn't merge.
FACK Blizz for Facking SC2 up bigtime. Well, that's it SC2 has caused me to give up games finally ... I can stop wasting time because there is no more good games and game companies anymore. I guess that's a good thing. See some of you intelligent guys in the real world. Thank blizzard for waking some of us up.
The ford horse guy reminds of this Russian boy I once knew in 7th grade. He was a lazy, sub-average intelligence guy who had a major inferiority complex. Everyday, he would always try to sound smart and pretend to be interested in science books and history books while we talked about sports and videogames during our break before class. He would also constantly quote things from the dictionary and thesaurus even though his choice of words was always used in the wrong context. Apparently, he thought he was impressing everyone but everyone felt he was an idiot. He also joined the debate team even though he sucked at it and never amounted to anything. He was pretty much a C-/D student at best. I remember him being annoying, arrogant, and sillily stupid. He disappeared off the face of the earth after 7th grade.
