It's not that they chose not to. The publishers aren't confident that GAME will be able to pay for the games, so won't offer them decent credit terms. Meaning that GAME would have to pay for all the copies up-front, which they don't seem to be able to afford to do.

Wouldn't it be a much better plan to do this with a much more well-known franchise? One that perhaps has hundreds and hundreds of monsters they could make cards for? One that people have a craving for collecting large amounts of them?

None of them are as good as the Target Shooting on the 3DS.

This, Uncharted 3 DLC and the PlayStation Vita. Wednesday is going to be very busy...

Am I the only person who has no problem with random (and mostly pointless) additional multiplayer weapons, armour pieces, etc, being given away with random things?

It's just a nice little extra for buying the merchandise. Nothing more, and it certainly doesn't spoil the game in any way.

Just looks like a random one, like the (much better) "Michael" advert.

They'll need another advert to properly show off what the Vita can do.

These are getting so common that it's getting pointless to do news articles on them.

It would be like creating an article about every PC game that comes with a serial code.
