Aug 19th 2009 7:54PM (Joystiq)Star Wars: The Force Unleashed receiving 'Ultimate Sith Edition,' new missions
Jul 24th 2009 10:53PM (Joystiq)which means continuity doesnt matter. the light side ending is the official story of what happened between 3 and 4. the dark side ending was just like an "easter egg", a bit more just for fun. dark side is unofficial. which means that when this carries on after the dark side ending, it is still an unofficial story, so whatever happens doesnt have to tie in with the rest of the film universe.
meaning the emperor could know where obi-wan is and the apprentice could kill him and it wouldnt matter in regards to the film universe

Jul 22nd 2009 11:17PM (Joystiq)I'm reluctant to even pay £40 for a game these days, I atleast wait until I cant get it for £35 at the most!
I remember when £30 used to be DEAR for a game!
There is NO WAY I would pay £55 for a game, no matter what the game is.

Apr 23rd 2009 7:29PM (Joystiq)Basing it off of the series gives them freedom to write a new story for the game (like they did for Jedi Alliance on DS, which was terrible btw), whereas if based on the movie, then the stroy is pretty much set in stone already.
and that was a BAD story.
yet the TV series is good. its slightly more mature than the film, but not so much as to not appeal to the kids.
i like the art style of it, and think it could be carried to the game pretty well.
and there are endless possibilities for a story line for this.
i hope they just dont screw it up with bad gameplay. cos jedi alliance didnt have the greatest of story line, admitidly, but it was the "gameplay" that let it down, if you can call tapping up and down continuously on the enemy as gameplay.
if this turns out to be true, then i will buy it, because i am a star wars fan and buy anything star wars.
if we'r all honest, i think some of us slate off star wars just to be on the bandwagon.
hell, if you REALLY thought star wars was that bad when you went to see Ep1, why bother coming back for 2,3, and Clone Wars? and would Force Unleashed have sold so well? doubt it.
this game could be good, i dont think we should write it off just yet
Joystiq vs. Bungie: A Mythic Halo 3 Challenge wrapup
Apr 11th 2009 10:20PM (Joystiq Xbox)when someone crouches up and down on the face of a dead body, its tea bagging. its supposed to be taking the piss out of the person you killed, cos your supposed to be dipping your balls in and out of their mouth..
like the action of dipping a tea bag in and out of a cup of tea. hence, the name.
tea-bagging.
Capcom VP explains RE5 multiplayer development, calls complaints 'BS'
Mar 16th 2009 7:54PM (Joystiq)and whats wrong with that? you cant blame anyone for trying to make a bit more ca$h. can you say youve never sold something to someone for more than its worth? even if you sold them just a 50p chocolate bar for £1. your just trying to make money.
so are Capcom. they make it, theyr completely within their rights to charge for it in my opinion
MS 'actively working' on linking Gamertags to new Windows Live IDs
Feb 20th 2009 12:24PM (Joystiq)an inactive account is one that people dont go on, so if you attach it to the email you use, you shouldnt have a problem.
though i thought it was already possible to change the ID associated with your gamertag? cos i did it; i had an @hotmail.co.uk addy when i first made my gamertag, then i got a new @live.co.uk, and i just moved my gamertag from one to the other. seeing as i no longer use the @hotmail.co.uk, its inactive, and probably will be deleted soon, but my gamertag is now associated with the new @live.co.uk email i use for emails and MSN etc. so my gamertag wont be deleted along with it.
just dont stick your gamertag on an email address you dont use. simple
