Epic 4G review

Posting to say I read Joseph Mama's comment, which I agreed with as well . . . some lame censoring here.

Google calls Oracle Android lawsuit 'baseless,' says Java goes 'beyond any one corporation'

It's unnecessary. I used one for a while when I got my phone, kept track of how long my battery lasted, then uninstalled the task killer and let Android OS do its thing. Battery life and performance are the same (latter might actually be BETTER now) and I don't have to worry about killing applications every time I use my phone.

It might be useful if you download poorly coded apps that waste resources in the background though.

No need for an apology, that's not what I meant. I meant that my reply ended up as its own post, instead of being threaded under the post I was originally replying to... haha.

Yeah, I think only the People widget is free, the rest you need the plus version for. I think the developer mentioned that he figured out how to make the Motorola resizeable widgets work with LauncherPro as well, but that's also a plus feature. You can still the regular "universal" widgets though, or download others from the Market, unless you really like the ones he's developing for plus users.

Also, this was supposed to be a reply to the guy complaining about the skin on Droid X / Droid 2... ah well.

LauncherPro. No root required, phone looks like the setup Froyo has as a homescreen, no impact on performance. Droid X skin is a non-issue.

"I just checked the App Store and there is only 4 fart apps.."

Wonder which app store you're checking, I had to hit "Show next 25" over 4 times (stopped at that) . . .

"Is that sad or sick?"

You're both.
