Brodo knows what he's talking about. He's 100% correct about how bad Brawl's multiplayer was, it simply isn't playable. Mario Kart Wii certainly is a fun online experience as he stated. And most importantly to this thread, NSMBWii is in no way a disappointment. I haven't had that much fun playing a game in ages. Me and a bunch of friends wasted 2 entire weekends playing and replaying it and had a great time. One of the best gaming experiences I've had in years without question. It wouldn't be nearly the same experience online as it is in person. It's just a game that's meant for local multiplayer.

I understand why some of you guys want to play with some friends who don't live in the area, but do you really have NO friends in your area who you can play games with? What the hell?

The section about Ghandi is ridiculous. Richard Grenier is certainly not a credible source. The man who wrote "Hindus are among the most bestially violent people on the globe." and "Gandhi believed in a religion whose ideas I find somewhat repugnant." Richard Grenier was a bigot with a political agenda.

When Ghandi refused penicillin for his wife, she was already on her death bed, and doctors had failed to revive her. Him hating "alien medicine" is total bs, she was simply already beyond hope.

They both came out in 92. Does kart outdate mortal kombat by a few months? Super Mario Kart was released aug 27th in Japan. I can't find an exact date for when MK hit the arcades

MK = mortal kombat, simply cause everyone uses that abbreviation and hardly anyone uses it for mario kart.

I also enjoyed mario kart wii, and most of the people I played against online were european, so this doesn't come as a shock.

I believe this game was released in Europe before anywhere else? Maybe Nintendo knew it would perform well there?

You obviously don't know much about Brawl if you think it's balanced and isn't without tons of problems. It somehow has worse chaingrabs than melee. Step backwards in most ways unfortunately, footstooling however is sweet =P
