Square Enix in talks with Microsoft for FFXIV on Xbox 360

Jun 22nd 2010 12:03PM (Joystiq)
Interesting. Kinda saw it heading this way anyways given FFXI is on Xbox 360.

It would be a good move on their part anyways. Can't hurt to have more subscribers.

I hope it will release soon...

Metareview: Mass Effect 2

I'm glad to hear the soundtrack is just as good as the first. I just completely loved it. It set the tone and atmosphere of the game so well, I mean personally it just wouldn't feel the same without the beautifully matched soundtrack they had/have.

A lot of people really do overlook the music because it's one of those 'background' things but it really has a powerful effect on the mood and immersion of the game.

Assassin's Creed 2 writer defends perceived slow start as 'necessary'

Dec 7th 2009 6:13PM (Joystiq)
Seriously, this game is leaps and bounds better than the first. I didn't mind the "slow" start at all, I felt it kinda immersed you into the storyline and Ezio's life. To me it felt like almost an entirely different game from the first, much more refined and just overall better in every way.

The only reason I even finished the first was because of the storyline, now it's like I can't put the damn game down. Fantastic job and hope they only get better from this point.
