Just picked up RUSE on 360 for £8 brand new, in a supermarket of all places. Really enjoyed the demo but didn't think it was worth full price, but £8... deal!

Nightwing DLC footage is electric, sticks Nov. 1 landing

Oct 26th 2011 2:21PM (Joystiq)
Price is far too steep. I'm a huge Batfan and there's no chance I'm paying 560 points for Dick... ahem. No doubt a few months down the line there'll be a dicounted bundle for all the skins and DLC. Real shame they're sullying a fantastic game with price gouging on DLC.

@Shadowbender

I think their logic is "there's no such thing as bad publicity", hence the continued efforts to give everyone diabetes with their cloying demonstrations of Stepford family gaming.

Battlefield 3 gets 'physical' in UK with Limited Edition

May 23rd 2011 12:09PM (Joystiq)
I'm sick to death of these 'limited editions' that consist of nothing more than a few early unlocks and slightly different box art (usually with a metallic effect). It's starting to get like the early 90s comic book market; turning mass-produced tat into supposed 'collector's items', limited only by how many they can sell. How long until we get games with 3-4 different covers that link up to form one panoramic picture? Collect every one, kiddies... they're bound to appreciate in value!

LA Noire becomes UK's fastest-selling new IP

May 23rd 2011 10:18AM (Joystiq)
I don't want to get too deep into spoiler territory, but I only really enjoyed L.A Noire up to a point. All I'll say is that from the last Vice case onwards the narrative just became a complete mess.
