My gaming room smells like laundry, since it's right next to the laundry room.

Unless it's 4:20...

2005 Honda Civic SI Hatchback, with all the factory ground effects.

I drive it every day, even if nowhere to go. I love it.

I've heard "nice win" once.

In comparison, I say it every round, every fight, etc. win or lose. I'm one of the rare "good sports". Pretty much everyone else is a douche.

PSA: 'Gun-like' Avatar items disappearing from XBLM on Jan. 1

Dec 23rd 2011 11:17AM (Joystiq)
So this is the same company who will constantly point out that Call of Duty (the biggest shooter in the world) has map packs on XBL first... and offers us two of the biggest exclusive shooters in Halo and Gears of War... but my AVATAR can't hold a virtual gun???

You know, between the limits on patches, the lack of MMO's, and the DLC that is free on PC but not on Xbox (Left 4 Dead, anyone?), I'm starting to wonder exactly what we pay for. Oh, that's right... the new TMZ app.

It can be cool for MMO's with a good population. I however have been playing DC Universe Online, and while it makes sense for superhero MMo's to have heros and villans, it splits the community in half.

I used to play FFXI and while there was an underlying tension between the different nations in the storyline, the idea was that we all put aside our differences against common enemies. Never have to worry about not being able to team up.

A haunted Halloween MMO tour [Update]

DC Universe Online is also adding their first annual Spook-tacular event on the PS3 servers tonight. I think it's been up for a few days on the PC.

I know DCUO might not be as popular due to a lot of issues after launch and beyond, but I've been having a ton of fun with it recently AND it's going F2P soon. Come aboard and raid with us!

DC Universe Online is SOE's fastest selling game [Updated]

The plus side to this is, maybe now, other developers and publishers will see that bringing MMO's to consoles could be good for business. I've only played MMO's on consoles (EQOA, FFXI, now DCUO), and I'd like to have more choices like my PC brethren instead of all the empty promises we've gotten over the years (LotR, DDO, Age of Conan, Champions Online, etc.).

The negative here is that, unfortunately, DCUO (while super fun when working right) is a broken game at this point. It's fun for anyone who wants to solo to level cap. But even for me and my girl in the same house, communication is near impossible, voice chat simply doesn't work, and there is a lot that needs to be fixed. I don't want other companies to go the "let's just dump it on PS3 and we'll fix it later on" route.
