@Mr Hett Okay bud, thanks :) I have a Radeon HD 6850 that's overclocked, and a phenom II x4 965, overclocked to 3.8 GHz, so hopefully I'll be running on medium/high. :) Heck, maybe by then I might upgrade to the GTX580 or the 6990. (I can dream)
The reason they are showing it on PC is because it is running DX11, and thus is using tessellation like a boss. I also think they have some advanced depth of field going on in there. Other than that, the graphical differences shouldn't be that extreme. I'm thinking some texture downscaling and maybe no AA (so some jaggies), but I think that would be it.
It would be great to know the specs of these computers, and know the recommended specs. I'm assuming I'll be able to run it all on medium, maybe some high settings without AA and AF, but it still looks like it's going to push everything to its limit.
Naughty Dog is to games as Pixar is to movies, at-least for me.
For years now, from the original Crash Bandicoot, to the PS2 Jak and Daxter series, and now the Uncharted series, ND has never failed to keep me entertained. As a gamer, I am in love with them.
I'm not going to lie, I'm a huge ND fan-boy, and that will probably never change. However, that does not mean I am a PS3 fan-boy. I wish ND would go multi-platform so everyone could have a chance to experience the games these developers make; they are simply best of class, every time.
I can't wait for this game, not at all. This and Gears of War 3 are going to complete my third person shooter requirement for a long long time.
'Baw baw baw, I'm going to cry and bitch and complain because Bioware is making an effort to make us all happy, baw baw.'
The fact that Bioware is giving all this stuff in a single game, and even more so an interactive comic to introduce new players, is something that most developers would never do. Kudos to them, and I can't wait for this, as I have been playing ME1 on my crappy PC for much too long.
