May 14th 2008 4:38AM (Fanhouse NFL Blog)1. The people responsible for the taping were Bill Bellicheck and several people in management. The players themselves were not involved in any way, including Tom Brady.
2. There was never a tape of a Rams walkthrough.
3. The effect this had on the Patriot's players performance was very minimal at best.
4. Tom Brady didn't make a press conference denouncing ESPN. He was asked how he felt about the situation in an interview that covered multiple subjects, and he answered honestly. (Don't tell him to keep his mouth shut when he was being asked to comment on it)
5. NFL officials have declared the Spygate situation closed.
I have to admit, I was considering leaving football fandom outright when I thought some of the comments on this board were the truth. Glad I looked it up and found out fans are just fabricating information now.

Oct 22nd 2006 9:37PM (Joystiq)Sorry, but I can't let people get away with misusing the word "rebel". It's disgraceful to the true rebels out there, fighting against their nation's dictators or crimelords and all sorts of injustice, when anybody who just breaks the rules is instantly a "rebel". What injustice does Rockstar seek to overthrow? What just cause do they serve? Rebel without a cause? That's an oxymoron, and a friendly way to say POSER.
GTA's open-ended gameplay is not a first. It's been going on since The Elder Scrolls started in 1994 and possibly before that. Grand Theft Auto got recognized as revolutionary just because it's controversy got it more attention, and the games weren't decent until number 3. And when someone tries to sell their product on controversy it means they just don't have the balls to put real meaning and advertising into what they made. This applies to games, movies, books, plays, music, whatever. Ann Coulter couldn't write an award-winning romance novel so she starts calling liberals evil and makes a fortune. What if J.K. Rowling tried to sell Harry Potter on controversy? Less imaginative storyline, more drug-induced teen incest. Not a happy picture, I know. But as long as the controversy sells, right? Bull.
