Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was my favorite. The funky bosses. The new, organic setting. The snake eating. It was fresh and original but also gave tons of back story that the franchise really needed.

Um... stop looking at the names above players and start paying attention to which team your own. Each side has very distinctive character models depending which faction your playing as. Besides, if you're waiting for an enemy name to pop up, there's a pretty good chance he's already killed you; because, seriously, who waits for the names to pop up? Pay attention to which faction you're playing for and shoot the guys from the opposite faction.

As for the Radar; teammates are triangles/arrows, enemies are dots.

The colors are just an aesthetic accompaniment. Unless you can't recognize simple shapes and take a second to check which faction you are at the start of the match, you really don't have an excuse for not being able to tell friend from foe.

And yeah, these have been circulating for a while at full 720p resolution (12 of them, rather than five), but I don't think Sony has 'officially' released them for everyone to use.

Obviously Sony still has a lot to prove, but hearing things like this coming from a Microsoft employee screams, "Don't look at our failures as a gaming platform or our complete lack of AAA titles in 2008! Look at Sony's promises that feel through and completely forget that we only have two good games coming out all year!"

Just to specify, I can't play the game for more than a minute before the freeze. Re-installed the game data about six times in total, deleted the save file, deleted just about every other game data and save data file on my system, rebooted the system, cleared the browser's cache, reset the system to default, tried 480p, 720p and 1080i resolutions, deleted a few user accounts from my system, tried different user accounts, cleaned the disc which is flawless... oh, and sacrificed several small farm creatures.

I refuse to reformat my system just to play a game which is probably not a problem on my end.
