Seriously, the industry gets enough unwarranted flak for sex and violence. Use this with the tag "Your Mom Hates This" and which kids are gonna want to buy it? It's an M rated game, please advertise it like one.

Without even an attempt at matching Darth Vader's voice, this is just painful to watch. Not as funny as it could be.

It's wasteful, sure, but it proves the point: a Blendtec will blend ANYTHING. And that's a great marketing position.

I own a Blendtec and love it - it's a 5hp blender and has never disappointed. Heck, it even makes HOT soup! And not that I need it, but it turns asphalt into dust.

Yeah, there's a problem on ATT's side where people on older phones have the "Text Messaging" feature, but not "iPhone Messaging". They cost the same, but apparently work differently. Not sure how that affects people without a Messaging plan, if at all.

Just make sure that if you have to change to the iPhone Messaging plan, that ATT begins that immediately. The first ATT support I spoke to today, for some reason, set it up to begin tomorrow instead of today.

I hate superfluous lawsuits, but this one has legs - touting the unlimited data for $30, making a huge deal about it, and then removing it as an option roughly 2 months later?

Not good business. And certainly opens both Apple and ATT up to this lawsuit. I don't use that much data via 3G, but glad someone got pissed off enough to do it for those months I do.

I have a reservation and confirmation, but just went to see the line 30 minutes in Sherman Oaks, CA that wrapped around the entire backside of the mall and further into the distance.

"Which one is the reservation line?," I asked the Apple guy.

"Just one line," he said. "We'll split them up inside."

"Reservations are kept until close of business today, right?"

"Yes, sir."

If the line wasn't enough to make me go back home, that was. And I have confirmation emails, so I SHOULD be "in their system."

Sounds like Radio Shack was a better choice, though.

Drove by Best Buy at 7:30am and no line had formed yet...not sure if they're allowing walk-ins, but that may be a good call even with the limited stock.

Just going to wait it out. Sounds like there are some antenna and yellow-spot issues, so it won't hurt to wait until later today. And while I'd love to have my new toy today, a couple weeks aren't going to kill me. Heck, I waited for the 3G iPad.

@nacido There are many cultural differences at play here, so the question is moot. Many cultures place a far, far higher value on providing for their family than others, and even consider it an honor to take their own life if they know their family will be provided for. Some will even kill others to do the same. Not my way of thinking or yours, but a way of thinking and a way of life (and death) for many.

Damn - looks like it works great, but ugly as sin. Not too friendly with the cart sticking out the top, either. For in-your-own house use only.
