How to get to Sesame Street: through your Wii, DS or PC

I don't even want to think about what the "it's not been in use forever" part means...

Feb 9th 2009 2:57PM (Joystiq Nintendo)Or maybe there were some things like this in Germany, but one is that it wouldn't really be compatible, either because of region differences, or some other kind of problem, and the other is that if I think about it, it probably would be much more expensive, to get there from here, than from Canada to any state of the US, which kinda sucks, as it's a shorter distance away. And then we would still speak a different language.
Not that Pokémon means this much to me, it's just...the fact... that it's like this. You still have it far better than us, "strandeds".
So I understand your aspects too, and I would do the same, if I'd live in Canada, but!... I don't, so I feel like I have to shed light on even more unfortunate situations. Pathos ended.

Jan 10th 2009 12:29PM (Joystiq Nintendo)One, is that for online games, you need several things, like a wi-fi connection, and lots of time (especially considering that I'll always be 6-10 hours "after" in the day, than everyone else, playing in the US). That means, that it would be ideal, to get it before summer (or for summer), to have an opportunity to really flesh out the game, and its online possibilies.
The other problem (which also flashes on why all this will be impossible for me in the winter vacation) is that if everything will go as planned, I'm going to attend university at the time, and if by a miracle, I get into the one I really want to, I won't have time even to go to the toilet from the huge amount of studies I'll have learn to not get kicked out.
So my last final words are: please Sega, surprise us with publishing the game in THIS winter, or somehow magically before summer, or your game may suffer the same fate as a lot of others on my shelf (and "to-buy list"): I won't be able to play them until the age of... 40(?)!
And in this game's case, there won't be much of a(n online) game left in it by then.
The obligatory 'What did you get?' post
Dec 25th 2008 3:30PM (Joystiq Nintendo)-Picross DS
-Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon (it finally arrived since May, when my order was made)
-Kirby: Power Paintbrush (it's the european version of Canvas Curse)
-Tony Hawk's American Sk8land (okay, I got these latter two from myself, but I made a very good trade, as they cost only 15 each, and I wanted both of them, since the second I set my eyes on their videos)
I'm still waiting for Hotel Dusk and Lost magic to arrive though. Hope they'll get here safely.
And I got Prism: Light the way for my father (he loves it, so thanks for the tip DSFanboy) and Brain Benders for my mother.
I found both of them in a bargain bin, where everything was (unopened and) around $10, and not incidentally, Soul Bubbles and Puzzle Quest were in it also(of course I grabbed one of them also). Sadly this means that I'll have less DS-time for myself, but oh well... it worths it. They have so big smiles on their faces while playing.
It looks like I ranted too much, so I won't be listing the various other things I got (mostly sci-fi books). Oh, I almost forgot: I received a Cyclo DS(with an Ezflash), but I don't have a memory card for it yet.
A delightfully comprehensive Phantasy Star Zero trailer
Dec 9th 2008 1:24PM (Joystiq Nintendo)I'm looking forward to playing this game, if not for the gameplay itself, than for the fun of playing with people from across the globe. Writing with your bare hands, bypassing the censoring system by using my native language... this would be fantastic even without the gameplay itself(maybe that's because I like speaking with people from other countries and also because the last time I played an MMO was 3 years ago, but I loved it... mainly the part where you could meet up and chat with others, while also playing and going forward co-operately together... oh, the memories).
This makes me sad, because it will either ruin my summer and/or my universal studies, or I won't be able to play with it... at all. And the latter seems to be kind of depressing... oh well, I'm gonna die of starvation, but I'm gonna die with a smile on my face (and PSZ playing in my dead hands until the battery dies out).
DS Daily: At launch
Nov 22nd 2008 4:00PM (Joystiq Nintendo)Also, I'm just getting into homebrew business, so the full world of possibilities on the DS hasn't even opened yet for me, but I already love it more than any other consoles or handhelds before.
And an other thing! I would like to ask, if anyone knows some games tha I should definitely try out for FrotzDS, and if there's anyone who would like to part with his or her Kirby Canvas Curse, I would buy it (for a reasonable price(say: $50)), if they're willing to send it to Central Europe (I'm not familiar with Ebay, but I guess that's the easiest way, if anyone's would be so crazy to sell the game).
