lack of support? You mean you didn't want to buy the game because there might not have been new maps?

BioShock will splash onto the PS3 [update 2]

Why is this a story on a 360 site? Are you trying to incite a flame war? It's already started with that Haze comment.

Crimson Skies may, one day, fly again

Dustin, I think you got the story wrong. Smith & Tinker own the IP while Airtight games is comprised of former members of the Crimson Skies team. Airtight games is developing Dark Void. I think Smith & Tinker would just rather wait for Airtight to finish work on Dark Void so they could then have them move on to a Crimson Skies sequel.

Not going to happen.

Video: This Project Origin is going to be bloody

May 19th 2008 7:18PM (Joystiq Xbox)
Wait a sec.... wasn't X3F the site that was disappointed with the game's graphics so far? And those rainbow people are the invisible ninjas from the first game, I guess they just wanted to further differentiate themselves from the usual "Predator" effect that most games use. The first game had the best ragdoll physics when you killed people and I hope that the tradition continues for Project Origin.

By golly it's Carmine, alive and at Comic Con!

May 19th 2008 6:24AM (Joystiq Xbox)
Noooooo!!!!! Must I pay an exorbitant (yes, its a real word) amount of money on Ebay to get a toy of the best character in the game? Why is it that Carmine and the Helljumpers from Halo are the coolest looking characters in their respective franchises? Am I alone in that opinion?

Frank O'Connor leaves Bungie for more Halos

May 19th 2008 6:18AM (Joystiq Xbox)
Since this sounds like the franchise is strong enough as a brand to not be associated with a single developer, this news brings me hope that there will be a centralized Halo website. Bungie.net was fine but I was hoping that Halo Wars and any future Halo games would have extensive stat tracking and community features similar to those found in Halo 3. Having it all on one site would create a stronger community around Halo and make it much easier on gamers.

First Banjo-Kazooie 3 screens surface [update]

Vehicle based gameplay would seem to fall in line with the rumor that the game would use the 360 Wii-mote.

Things learned from the GoW2 gameplay video

I think the new rifle is actually a revamped Hammerburst from the first game and the pistol is the weapon mentioned in the Game Informer article. Gamevideos has their own analysis of the trailer as well: http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/18777
