Some people may pirate to demo the games that have no demos or aren't available for rent. An example is the iPhone App Store. Most of the App Store Pirates at Hackulo.us do it to demo the games and applications so they don't waste their money on an app they won't use. Most of the ones I know will buy the game if they liked the first few levels of the pirated version.
