DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue gameplay leaves little to the imagination

Aug 31st 2010 10:06PM (Joystiq)
@SPNorth I don't think that's what happened at all, that is, that they cut something from the first game. The setting is completely different from the first one as this seems to take place on something like modern war scenario, as opposed as the medieval fantasy of the first one... or so it seems.

Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess now (definitely) on Xbox Live Indie Games

This game looks funny... and I don't why, but it reminded me of Braid :-P I think this will be a purchase for me.

The Joystiq Indie Pitch: Lumi

I really love what Joystiq is doing here with Indie Pitch, but Indie games need more than that. As it is, these games are getting close to zero exposure, and that's just a shame because there are quite a few great games out there that are not getting a chance simply because people don't know about them...

For instance, MS could every once in a while feature some of these games on their Spotlight channel of the Xbox 360 Dashboard.

This sounds very good. I have to say Sony has made an awesome job with these innovative, artsy puzzle/adventure games on the PSP platform. I don't understand why the PSP hasn't done better compared to the DS... anyways, this is a game I'll be looking forward to.

Calling all commenters: Submit your Batman blurb

This game is just great. Sophisticated yet accessible combat system, excellent use of Batman gadgetry... but the part I find most engaging is the Riddler challenges. Which is a lot to say from me, because I usually hate these scavenger hunt elements in games!
