Most of the "deals" are full price. The author of this piece sounds like Hank Hill bragging about buying a car: "sticker price, and not a dollar more"!

Especially with a multiplayer game like this, it is nice to have an option so grossly incompetent players can be with decent players and not feel like a burden. In a single-player game, failing should make you want to become better, but in a multiplayer game, it's a good way to keep people from ever trying.

That's called "Homebrew scares me." Voiding warranties and damaging lasers is precisely what scares people about it.

Quite probably the Mario team is now hard at work on Toad Retainer's Whack-a-Mole, while the Zelda team is slaving over Deku Scrub Comb-and-Brush Love-Time.

But I don't mind. The Wii is dead, but it had a pretty good year-and-a-half run, much like the Dreamcast. I wish it had lasted, but I played a bunch of great games that first year.

An interesting platformer would be a treat for me, and if it's like Mario Sunshine, there's nothing wrong with that.

The actual press release, with the focus on "good" and "bad" sprays, somehow suggests Super Magnetic Neo, a really charming Dreamcast platformer that nobody else ever played.
