Yakuza 4 - over 40 hours logged and I've only done ~20% of the game. Way too much fun!

Also Final Fantasy XIII off and on. I never beat it and have Final Fantasy XIII-2 coming Monday I want to jump right into.

@Dril Curious about this too, so until I hear if I can cancel the pre-order or not and still get in the beta I'm going to stay away. I really want to try out this game, but I don't want to eat $60 just to try it out.

Unless you buy the CE, then you get no credit. At least as fast as I know. Amazon has never given credits for any CEs I've purchased.

Finally downloaded the demo and played it. I got an extremely strong Sudeki vibe from it - I'm probably one of only ten people who owned that on the original Xbox (and still own it actually. I should beat it someday). Lots of fun - definitely going to be picking it up.

@Lerkero Funny you say that - My nephew was playing Black Ops when he was five (he'll be six in March). Nothing is more ego dampening than when a five year old continously shoots you in the back of the head, then turns to you, cups your face in his chubby little hands, and says "You really suck at this. I'll ask my daddy if you can take this game home and practice."

The closest he's come to "kid" games is Sonic the Hedgehog. Which I also suck at.

I played the demo last weekend with my boyfriend. I'd been looking forward to it since I first saw a video of the main character getting all zombie-fied. I thought the concept sounded really cool.

Within the first three minutes I was just laughing. So the little girl has mental problems, can't talk... yet Lana has no problem shoving this poor little thing through crawl spaces. Literally SHOVING HER ONTO THE GROUND AND THROUGH SMALL GAPS. I was laughing so hard. "Get in there, mute girl! GET IN THERE NOW!" Then when Amy flips a switch, you get this brief flash on the screen of her face, looking at you like a dog awaiting a treat. Every. Single. Time. I felt like I shoulda had a lollipop at the ready for Amy every time she pulled off some marvelous trick of FLIPPING A SWITCH.

At one point I left poor Amy in a room (because not only does she need to be physically shoved through gaps, she also needs to be coaxed back through with Reeses Pieces) and ditched her. She was better off.

I would probably actually buy this game though, assuming PS+ ever offers it incredibly cheap. While it wasn't the greatest thing ever made, I would like to give it another chance. Or at least enjoy shoving Amy into another room and running away, cackling madly while whacking zombies with a 2x4

I always have voice chat off so the least inappropriate thing I've heard is silence!
