@ Chris Buffa. The face button symbols that surround the ball as it's hit are only there to show you what kind of shot has been played. Triangle = lob, circle = slice, etc. You don't have to hit the corresponding face button - you can play the shot with whatever button you like..

Yeah, me too. I could buy the UMD version today but I actually want the download version for the efficiency and convenience it offers.

It makes even less sense when you consider that we've been getting simultaneous PSN and UMD releases for ages in European territories (hence why I own Patapon 2 on UMD).

All these articles saying "such and such game is on the way for PSPGo". It's ridiculous. Just say PSP and leave it at that.

It's misleading.

I've heard that when the EU version is ripped to memory stick it is in the high 500s, but purchased from the PlayStation Store it is only around 362mb, which isn't too bad by anyone's standards.

Is this demo supposed to be out tomorrow on BOTH the US and EU stores?

My 1000 doesn't struggle playing Resistance Retribution at all! What evidence is there that the 1000 doesn't perform as well as the later PSPs, except in terms of load times?

You're not alone. For some reason I feel more security from having a physical copy of a game rather than a digital copy.

I for one have never had a problem with games on UMD. I have 14 of them, none of which take very long to load and I've never had a broken or faulty one. I personally don't understand all the negativity about games on UMD.

That said, I will support the PSP in whatever direction it goes simply because it is a great system and I have had countless hours of enjoyment from it.

However, I would just like to be guaranteed that my UMD investments will not become worthless in the very near future.
