I originally thought it was Jim Ward as well, but, when I first got a chance to play the game, Ron Gilbert told me it's actually a gent by the name of Michael Richard Dobson. He's done a lot of anime VO work. Here's his site:

We're working to transition all of our video content hosted by Viddler to HTML5, so you won't be seeing those sad missing plugin blocks on your iDevices for much longer. :)

The 1024x768 file resolution is on our side. Our gallery viewer maxes out at that res.
