By the way, if your big takeaway from the movie was 'that Billy Mitchell guy sucks' or 'that poor Steve, I felt so sorry for him.', you missed the point. Everyone is a funny/depressing figure, except for maybe the guys family. Steve's daughter had the most poignant line of the film.."(on Guinness record book)Some people sort of ruin their lives to be in there..". As in, who cares about the stupid record...besides crazy people?!

No thanks. And I HAVE Kinect. I don't know that it would be worth more than a 10 dollar rental (or whatever my Gamefly equivalent would be) for the couple of hours of play time it seems to take to play through it...and that's assuming I like it. Otherwise $19.99 sounds more appropriate to me.

Has anyone questioned why CoE isn't a download game?(I'm sure they have) Although, comparing it to other Kinect games I've played, it will probably seem much more of a full fledged game-y-game.

I have a Kinect and I'm still not buying it. I mean figuratively "buying" it. I'll put it in my Gamefly queue eventually and perhaps I'll be won over. I even love Flower and really liked Rez and Frequency, but for some reason the recent videos of CoE have turned me off. The real woman is looks lame and kinda creepy, the music doesn't seem to be all that impressive....but You said its good(great) so I would assume its isnt as bad as it looks to me.

What?! ...and in the UK. I thought I had more respect for them than that.
Who is buying this game? Who is like, Duke Nukem, oh yeah I totally want to BUY that because it looks good? Is there that much nostalgia?

Duke WAS pretty awesome back in the day...when I was a KID, and I thought alot of stupid stuff was fun/funny.

Hmm, maybe now people will start to kick or take pot shots at Nintendo as they have kinks in their dominant armor. They have sure done it with Sony (You're not #1 anymore, Suck It!). Perhaps those are the vicious cycles.

Or maybe this is just a blip and not a trend. For me, I don't plan on jumping back on the Nintendo bandwagon anytime soon. Until they stop relying so heavily, and almost exclusively, on their 25 year old franchises and start putting efforts into actual NEW titles that aren't just casual or retreads of existing properties, I'm out.

I grew up on Mario, but at this point if I never play another Mario game again, I think I'd be okay. Good ol Nintendo, still milking the same franchises that recently celebrated 25 years...crazy.

I have fond memories of playing Duke years ago........buuuuuut, I have Borderlands Game of the Year edition and have no intention of checking out this demo.

Just get this game out so it doesn't take up any more game news/coverage space, please. I suppose there is the slightest chance that it decent and people love it and buy it in great numbers...but I would be shocked.
