I take exception when people bash the Shadowrun FPS. It was a very well designed and balanced FPS integrating many long-standing traditions of FPS, many of them disparate, into a cohesive whole. My only regret is that the game didn't have a complete single player, lacked a little polish, and was overpriced for the package. Otherwise, I wouldn't trade my copy back for twice what I paid for it.

@Xei Hey, I'm not going to fault anyone for playing it on PC rather than a console. I tend to agree it's much better on PC. But I am going to buy it anyway because I support Notch and want to feed his genius.

I'll stick to my Need for Speeds, Blurs, and Motorstorms. Games should be fun and only tangentially real. I'm not going to say there is something wrong with simulations or people who play simulations, but it's not a place I go to with my games.

No iCade support? Not worth it.

Yes... because that's all they have. One day, the evil evil people at JRPG Company decided we gamers couldn't be trusted with the character development of our own characters and decided to make it the statistics version of an on-rail shooter.

Look at it this way: On one end of my character development continuum is Final Fantasy 13 and on the other is a Minecraft server. The further we get to the Minecraft side, the happier I am.

Will the awesomeness of this crossover ever cease? I swear Nintendo. I'll hate you forever if you kill this.

@xiLeShadow Video games, even passion about video games, doesn't amount to much. It's still business. You all need to get over that.

If you want a "stable" job, work in production support for an MMO or some other service. Project work is no better than contract labor.
