Notch's new game is '0x10c'

A monthly fee is understandable. I wouldn't want to see the project focus on a central shard philosophy though, and could hope for a primary shard with private shards for those who want them.

Hayashi: Team Ninja taming its 'sex and violence' image in DoA 5

If they do this, the game is going to fall flat on its face.

DoA's core system has no real redeeming features. I can't remember the last time I ever ran into a tournament video for the game, simply because no popular ones exist. I've hit tournament vids for The Rumble Fish 2 for chrissake.

Unless they dramatically change the game to make it a more engaging or unique experience, I can't imagine the game would fly very far without their cheesecake to carry them.

@fatguy88 What do you expect from a game that's all about countering?

Does the main character actually qualify as a silent protagonist? You choose his actions in dialog, and they are written out like vocalized responses.

Setting the record straight: Massively's interview with Pando Networks

Jan 5th 2012 1:59PM (Massively)
The issue I have with Pando is that it installs itself as a service, when it doesn't need near that level of operation to do its job. It can run entirely as a user level application and do its job just fine, but it chooses and requires to install itself as a system service.

Who cares if I could uninstall it afterwards? I shouldn't have to uninstall it. It shouldn't have to install itself to do its job.

12 Days of Joyswag: Nintendo 3DS plus eight games (and a ton of Skylanders)

Mostly during downtimes between class, on campus, and mostly Monster Hunter.

Monster Hunter Tri-G boosts 3DS to best week ever in Japan

Your face when you realize the decal is upside down while opened.

It looks to me like it would be goofy to walk around playing tri-G with an upside down decal to the world.

@pluupy It'll only be a surprise when MHTriG is announced for English markets.

Well, Nintendo found a way to take my money.

Nintendo of America and Capcom of America, probably not.
