In high-school I was a band dork. I was a snare drummer on our marching band's drum line. I used to watch the cheerleaders as the football games transpired and I'd always hyper-focus on the cheer squad leader. She'd the one that yells 'LAST TIME!' to indicate that their looping cheer will end after the following iteration. I would obsess over these girls, each and every one of them, as they were the ultimate conflagration of beauty, athleticism and leadership.

I am reminded of this just now, as this is the last time I can enter this contest. And enter it I will.
