Hacker's security concerns elicit response from 'Nin Tendo,' Nintendo

Jul 22nd 2008 12:27PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I've read it right, you just happen to have a different opinion... I still believe it's bogus, I understand his effort, but the big N isn't even going to take the tradeoff seriously. Although they could try to keep the homebrew legit, it sure opens alot more space for illegal homebrew to appear.

Hacker's security concerns elicit response from 'Nin Tendo,' Nintendo

is it just me or this is a huge "gimme fame" thing? I believe he did find some minor hole, but disclosing it to nintendo so he can have a "legit" homebrew channel? that allows little things like playing illigal roms in emulators per example? C'MON, like the big N is going to make that effort...

Wii Warm Up: Retro Man 9

Jul 4th 2008 5:21PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
well i have the nes titles, really hard and demanding but also amazingly rewarding and fun, still i don't think it is about lazyness. This coming from a guy that thinks that they coulda pulled a paper maioesque look and keep the amazingly simple gameplay. Capcom took the risk, now it's a ''hit or miss'' kinda case. For me it looks like a miss.

FIFA 09 wants to score so badly

Jul 2nd 2008 6:10AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
The history lesson in FIFA games: almost 10 years releasing the same game with improved graphics and then PES comes along and steals the crown forever... NOW they seem to work their ass off to get it back, but till now, nothing interesting. PES has really a psecial place in sports gaming, specially with the Wii revolutionary controls and gameplay.

Producer talks about what to expect from de Blob

This game has an increasing appeal, first started as some platformer starring a INK thing, now the characters seem to have personality and the game looks and sounds awesome, very creative people to put out a creative game like this. Looking forward to it.

Some slightly less tiny Wario Land Shake screens

it quite feels like a DS title to me, not cuz it's 2D (that's actually a good thing to me) but because of the caliber of 2D, we can have these games with amazing effects anyway can't we ?
