The FCC can regulate television stations because transponder liscenses can be revoked. Its an option of be regulated or not broadcast. That's why pirate stations can be shut down; there's a liscense required to broadcast. From there it's a case of bullying and blackmail.

I'm going to withold judgment until I can play the game, which would mean crippling shortages would have to end; suffice it to say that this game appears as if it will play like crap and look like the others (I noticed the same stupid little problems in the engine for the originals.) Them recycling the old cut scenese directly insulted me. A new perspective? Remade stuff?

Honestly, this is shameful.

It got a poor review because it was slow, not because it wasn't functional. The DS doesn't exactly have the horsepower for loading webpages, being only marginally more powerful than the N64.

Genuinely, I'm alright with it. It's cool. Seriously. You think the hype machine has died? It has not! It lives on! You can still get screens. In fact, the data unloaded by companies at E3 may even be of greater volume and density. And honestly, which is easier: trolling through a compendium of E3 information, or going through your console's convention information? More SpaceWorld, which means dedicated Nintendo news. Microsoft, Sony, whoever, whatever conventions. GDC is a huge opportunity now for developers. TGC will probably expand. Gaming news has just expanded to a more digestable pill. Swallow the damned pill!

You ever seen an E3 booth photo? The publicity and screens aside, the shit that gets put up online, with the people who were there, does everyone (regardless of whether or not they look like nerds or not) a disservice. Its a misrepresentation, on one part, and an accurate charicature as well.
