I'll buy it on Steam if it's $50. If it turns out to be $60, then sorry, Activision, but I'll be happy playing Torchlight, Borderlands, and Left 4 Dead 2 this holiday season.

But if they do that, they they won't be able to get you to pay $10 extra for the service that lets you re-download the game 6 months after your purchase instead of 2!

Also, some adults are put off by excessive gore in games. I'm personally not one of them, but to each their own, right? If someone wants to play the game with no blood, then there shouldn't be any reason why they can't.

For every person that will buy the game at $60, there will be at least one person who would have bought the game for $50, but decides to either pirate it or boycott it due to the unfair price hike.

That's at least $50 lost for every extra $10 gained.

So only those who've pre-ordered the game from GameStop can play the "Last Man Standing" mode? But it's a multiplayer mode. Does that mean you'll exclusively be playing it with other people who have pre-ordered the game from GameStop? What if you want to play that mode with your friends, who bought the game elsewhere, or didn't pre-order it?
