Seriously, you guys are deluding yourself if you don't think the primary purpose of the R4 device is to play pirate games. Homebrewers can cry foul, complain and make big scenes but in all honesty, do you think this even comes close to being a significant portion of this device's use in the overall market?
I don't believe this is the first case of a major company going after sellers of devices. Didn't Sony go after some mod-chippers a few years ago. If memory serves me correctly, the case was about circumvention of copy protection. I think they lost that case due to the device being used for regional protection circumvention as a significant usage. As there is no regional protection on DS games, perhaps there is no justification for the device?

I have never seen Chrono Trigger on the shelves in Australia. The game apparently had an incredibly small production run and is now deleted. You can't complain about poor sales if you have nothing to sell to people who want to buy it.

So remind me again why Australia needs all these languages? Seems like they could run a spell checker over the text, do the PAL conversion and have it out in a couple of days (not 3 months later). If they could get Australia out of the way, surely that would decrease the logistical problem they have later? Spread the work out?
