I've lost my faith in most of these commenters. Sure it's nice to talk about these magical changes you can make to a Macbook Pro, but do you want the price to skyrocket? Sure you can find great laptops with PC internals, but they'll burn your lap unlesss you have a cooler, and your battery life will go down the drain. Half you guys want 16:9 displays, ridiculous graphic power that you'll never use (don't give me the PC gaming and video editing excuse; you do that on a desktop), and other absurd things you won't need in a laptop.If you want/need all/of that, chances are you know where to get that don't even think you can get Apple to do this for you. I'm all for criticizing Apple, but when it becomes boarderline trolling (get rid of OS X, really?) It really pisses me off. I'm done ranting now.

As for my changes, I think Apple has it right when it comes to most of the specs. It would be nice if they added some more vram to the 330M and if they could keep it at stock clocks and not under clock it. The price is another thing. Apple can afford to cut the price by $300 on each model and they'd probably sell better. The only model that should have a spec bump is the 17. For a desktop replacement, it should be loaded with specs that can...replace a desktop. Apple can do a quad core in the 17 and a better GPU. They should also get with the Blu-Ray program now. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's time now. Also, USB 3.0, more ports, and expresscard back.
