If you think that banning people from a singleplayer game for something they post on a forum is a stupid idea, don't buy it now; Dragon Age II isn't going anywhere and will certainly be available for sale, and possibly even ON sale, by the time EA reverses this stupid policy.

PC is to be the "lead platform", but the mod tools aren't gonna happen? Uhh, does DICE even understand what it means to make the PC your lead platform for a game? Next they'll tell us the game has a default field of view of 75 degrees and widescreen monitors will chop the top and bottom portions of the view instead of showing more to the left & right, all while maintaining that the game is PC-centric. And if you buy the disc version from a store, the game will require the disc in the drive to play. Oh, and a month before the release, no word on mod tools or even map tools but check out these extra maps you can get if you pre-order ($1.99 each afterwards). Oh, and fuck all that funny hat shit TF2 does, we won't have funny hats, but how about these cool shoulder patches for $0.99 each! Show your squad's pride!

Don't tell me you're going to make it PC-first, DICE. BF2 was PC-centric. That was six years ago.

Human1, set shadow density to '0'. This is what is making your FPS suck. The default setting is inappropriate for people without monster graphics cards.

Wulf: It appears that they showed it on the CES stage during their keynote (however briefly). They had three monitors in a row playing one game at some ridiculous aggregate resolution.

SupCom 2 and Starcraft 2 might both be strategy games but I hardly think there's a conflict. You play Starcraft for the wonderful story and fast-paced multiplayer. You play Supreme Commander for sheer size and chaos. As an RTS fan, I'll definitely be buying both. Starcraft 2's story will almost certainly grip me but I know on those lazy weekend afternoons when I just feel like zoning out, what I'll crave is a skirmish battle of truly epic proportions like only Chris Taylor can provide.

This was a pretty vacuous preview. Instead of gushing, how about some details as to *what* made the game look/feel so much more realistic? The screenshots really don't make it look much beyond D3/Q4/Prey, but I would argue that all three of those games actually looked kinda ugly in screenshots, and much better when they were in motion. So what made Rage look so great?

I'm really looking forward to Arkham Asylum, but I think I prefer the 90s animated series' "femme fatale" rendition of Poison Ivy to this "Succubus"-style version.
