I must say, shit happens, specially in this type of updates when some libs changes. I currently play U1 and i'm near ending, after update 3.0 i was in middle of nazi u-bot station and after that i have didn't get any crash. Anyway, this will get fixed by game patch for sure.

Welcome to Europe, im from Poland but we got them too ^^ MediaMarkt and Saturn (they have same owner) is a rain of such offers, you can find something new every week, ones they selled xbox arcade with 2 games + extra pad... in same price. They main theme (at least here) is MM: "Nie dla idjotów" (Not for idiots) Saturn: "Żer dla skner" (Food for misers) ^^

@Hyams, if they try they can make better ;] as other people said if bunch of armature programmers made PS2 emulation on 90% compatibility (PCSX2 runs MGS3, BC PS3 don't o.O) based of reverse-engineering, the professional programmers with clear specification of hardware can do miracles ;] They don't need to use old crappy code, maybe they planed to fix all BC issues, but BC just been droped by higher-ups, so they stopped working on it. besides, they patented PS2 (specifically EE+GS chipsets) full-software BC month ago, so looks like they working on it :>
