That's all I needed to know--thanks! My 12yo loves to play his DS, but he's also a fabulous artist, so he should go bananas for colors DS. :D

I just read a Wired article about how to turn a Nintendo DS into a paint pad, and I was thinking about giving it a shot for my 12yo (aka Picasso Jr.). What I know about all this stuff would roll around in a thimble, so this may be a dumb question, but--if we do this paint-pad hack, will the Nintendo DS also still function normally with all the game cartridges we have?
