Wii Warm Up: Play time

Feb 4th 2008 9:43AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I finished No More Heroes the second day I had it (yay sick days) and I'm still trying to finish Zack and Wiki. Still loving guitar hero and can't wait to get another guitar so my wife can play co-op. I own a 360 on which I'm currently playing Mass Effect. I generally play the 360 in bed. I've also been sinking my teeth into some Advance Wars: Days or Ruin on DS when I'm not busy with everything else.

Burnout Paradise 360 requires HDD for online play

I'm a very informed gamer and actually opted for the arcade unit and have been enjoying immensely. I never plan on paying for a service that should be free anyway. So far I've played BioShock, Mass Effect, and Orange Box and have had no problems with the 360. The Arcade unit is not an EPIC Fail as one user puts it. It is simply a cost effective way to enjoy single player games for people that actually one a house, have a job and don't have 40 hours a week to play online with their friends. It is the highest selling 360 to date.

Leave it to James Ransom Wiley to write an article that tries to make Nintendo look bad.

Phoenix Wright: still hot, still rare

Jun 21st 2006 3:25PM (Joystiq)
Oh I don't know... An involving plot, puzzles that required more than half a brain, decent music and sound effects since there's no voice acting, interesting uses of the touch screen, etc., etc. Puzzles with more than one solution would have totally made this game better. As it is though, you have to pixel-hunt for every stupid object that makes your case. I just thought it was a total disappointment.

Whatever. I had such high hopes for this game. I can't believe crappy games like this are worth money. Don't waste your time. Go play a real game like "New Super Mario Bros."
