Jane, I love you. That is all. :)

Jane After Dark: What should Jane watch next?

Hey J,

It really should go without saying, but I'll say it anyways...

FIREFLY!!!

(You won't be disappointed.)

Jane After Dark: Is Angel as good as Buffy?

I loved the entire series, all seasons in their varying degrees of greatness. But standout moments for the show for me were Faith's arc in 'Five by Five' and 'Sanctuary', Angel's "all the matters is what we do" speech from 'Epiphany', every single moment that Wesley was on screen, and the entirety of 'Not Fade Away'.

Hey Jane,

I'm the one that originally linked to this over on whedonesque.com. It seems I owe you an apology for using the word "disappointing" when talking about your list. I meant no offense and to tell you the truth I'm not even really all THAT disappointed. I can't really recall what I was thinking as I posted that comment so I'm not sure why I chose that word. But it seems I crossed some line with it because I'm catching no end of hell over there for it. I've edited the post (though I couldn't resist being snarky about it), so with any luck people will start to focus more on your actual list and less on my "condescending editorializing".

At any rate, hope you weren't offended. And let me know when you watch Joss' follow-up series "Angel" 'cause I'll be all over that with any number of favorites lists.

You beat me to it, jefffff. Caprica Six is the one that eventually lead the beginning of the "revolution" among the other Cylons, along with one of the Eights, spreading the idea that they didn't have to kill the humans. She's the one that then killed Boomer when she was about to kill Hera and helped Athena get the baby back to Galactica... which brings us to her locked up in the brig.

The Six that Anders killed (with a little help from Natalie) was one that was involved with the settlement on New Caprica.

I've been expecting for quite some time now that the Final Five (which we've been told numerous times are "different" from the other seven) aren't actual "hardcopy" models, but rather "ghosts in the machine"... Cylons that have evolved beyond physical form, or never found the need for one in the first place. Instead they remain sentient programs that have now downloaded into the humans bodies. This would explain how Tigh could have been around (and presumably aging and changing for over three decades), etc.

It also meshes with some of the rumors coming out about the 'Caprica' prequel spin-off.

Frak! I've been waiting very impatiently for more Foo Fighters, and the thought that "D.O.A." was coming kept me going. Not so much, apparently.

Nevermind, I found it. It's Butcher the Bar, "Get Away" (available on iTunes).

Chuck: Chuck Versus the Marlin

I definitely heard a little Patrick Warburton in there, as a matter of fact.

And for the love of all that's frakkin' holy can someone, anyone PLEASE tell me what song that was playing at the end when Chuck found the ring and Awesome was talking to the sleeping Ellie? Pleas?
