On the first day of giveaways, Turbine gave to me... [Updated]

Start a complicated stroll to Mordor, because one does not simply walk there. Seriously though, I would get my son to start a character on that account so he wouldn't need to play on my account. :D

LOTRO (well, haven't played DDO but still). I love the lore and the content is amazing. I can different characters, do the same quests but I'll do them differently. I applaud Turbine for the work they've done.

Never played any of them. Tried to play a demo of whatever which one but the sync was so off on their LCD screens, it was unbearable.

But you could change my mind...?

PETA attacks Take-Two over Ringling Bros. on Wii

May 14th 2009 9:32AM (Joystiq)
They really shouldn't have editable text boxes for sending the letters. *ahem*

I was ecstatic to hear that Take-Two is partnering with Ringling Bros. to create a circus-themed video game. Video games are a fun way to pass the time, and circuses are lots of fun for animals. Ringling has a long history of animal attention and love. To get elephants to "perform," Ringling Bros. cuddles babies with their mothers and lavishes them with poshly decorated boxcars, enabling them to travel and perform every year. Elephants are fed and well taken care of in the most sensitive ways with well trained staff and masseurs.

Though if you want to create a truly awesome circus-themed game, please consider a circus partner that uses only willing human participants, like say PETA members. Thank you.

Gamestop says to expect Rock Band 2 this month

Dec 9th 2008 2:16PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I'm still looking forward to it. As I said before in the referring old post about the January date, the "Rock Band Store" (rockbandstore.com), according to HMX, is just another retailer (not owned my them). I'm not giving up hope for the December release since that is what HMX's official announcement said: December.

I'm probably not going to be able to get it as a gift for Christmas since people have told me they're done shopping for me. I'll live with getting it myself the day after if that's the case.

Rumor: Rock Band 2 pushed back to January?

I'd go with Harmonix's actual announcement of a December release.

According to Sean from HMX, rockbandstore.com is just another retailer and they don't know the exact release date any more than GameStop or Wal-mart.

Sean from HMX confirms what the USA Today has now said. DLC & Online for Wii.

Won't be "exactly" the same as the 360 version but they're cramming as much as they can onto that disc. They had me at DLC. Next on my wish list is a proper BWT.

I'm with eugaet on hearing from Harmonix directly, but I'm getting psyched up for RB2 later this year. I'm probably the only one wanting RB2 on Wii but I just can't afford another bundle and I prefer RB's aesthetics than GH's.
