I think people haven't completely read the blog post above. If they did, then they would have probably read the part where Mizoguchi said:

"The decision has not been finalized"

I think I'll repeat that, since it sounds vaguely important:

"The decision has not been finalized"

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that sentence imply that the decision to make Lumines multiplayer functions an add-on ISN'T set in stone? Perhaps they'll take a good look at all the screaming and moaning on gaming websites, and realize that the whole 'pay to play' MP scheme may not be worth it.

Just a thought...
