In my view, the fact that decided to not release a demo is a bad sign. It's smells of, "people will just realise it's an overhyped shooter". Kinda like what happened with Chromehounds, had they not released a demo, their sales would have been better. I for one will always stay away from a game I can't try, well at least until I'm sure its good enough from reviews and such, but this will defenitly prevent me from jumping on it.

Like others have mentionned, a lot of games with demos became instant must haves even thought I wasnt even remotly interested in them before.

Heck, Even N3, a lot of the reviews wheren't that good, but thanks to the demo, I could see I'd have a lot of fun with it, so will get it.

You do know there is such a thing as windows XP 64bit Right ?! It can hangle TONS of memory, can't remember how much but its nuts ;)

And drivers for everything are pretty much available for 64 bit now.

Either way, if it comes out for PC, I'm not buying it for a console. The bad experience we've all had with Graw or Oblivion, where we have to pay for every little add-on while the moding community makes tons for free has left me almost wanting to get rid of my xbox. At the least I am NEVER buying a cross platform title ever.

Thats the great thing I liked about my PS2, almost all kickass title where exclusive to the console, so I didnt feel cheated like I do with the XBOX, making me pay extra for a game thats actually more open and cheaper on a PC. ?!

I hate that some of you guys are too slow to see the big picture. Some of you say 14$ isn't that much, and like lemmings you go out an pay. Don't you realise that this will just keep getting worst and worst. They started by charging us for FREAKING Icons ?! Now they overcharging us for maps... Yet the console is just over 6 months old !! Think about it, if people keep buying these overpiced items, they will just keep raising the price and it will get completly out of hand.

The term for this was supposed to be MICROPaymnent, how in the hell is 15$ a micropayment ?! Stop supporting this, please.

Uhm, you do realise that the business model is COMPLETLY different there ?! right?

TV station have to pay to be on calble, I know a while back there was a big stink here because Videotron was charging so much that small tv channels couldnt afford it.

Then in turn the Cable distributors screw us by charging for cable too... (What do you think the whole mess with net neutrality us all about ?! Thats what they (the TELCOs) are now trying to do with the internet... (look it up))

So TV stations NEED adds, thats there only revenu. Would be weird to have a problem with this when you know this. (Though Cable SHOULD be way cheaper when you realise it)


But in this case it's quite different, the game companies do make a profit from direct sales from the game, do they really need an extra income added ?!

I keep hearing that the game industry is WAY bigger than the movie industry now, yet I've never heard of a game costing nearly as much as a movie to make, yet they charge us 4 times the amount a movie does ?! Are they really hurting or is just some excuse to sucker us into accepting anything ?!

And Les Doodis, you say "...but if companies don't do something to cover the costs of developing games for next-gen..., there won't BE any games for you to play."

They did do something, they started OVERCHARGING us for "next gen" tittles. (Around 20$ more per game, here in Canada) Yet the same game using the same graphics, texture, models etc, is cheaper on a PC. And now they want to had Adds ?! Yeah Right, thats fair ?!

Its not a question of doing anything or not while in the lobby, its a question that we are paying a premium to be on the 360, so we shouldn't have to put up with junk, period!!

Well I think something like this would be completly unacceptable... The only way this could be ok would be if some of the money those companies made from this is diverted to Microsoft and allows them to make Xbox live Free (which would allow even more people in to see the adds, so they make more than enough money to cover the loss of revenu to microsoft)

If not, are we really expected to pay a fortune for games, then xbox live and then every single little icon or wallpaper, only then to be bombarded with Adds ?! This in my view would make the xbox a complete ripoff and a joke.
