That's pretty neat.

The very short list of Yakuza 4's localization changes

@Rather Dashing I don't understand why the McElroy automatically assumed that anything involving hostesses is automatically creepy. He most likely hasn't played any of the Yakuza games to go with that assumption.

Which in itself is sad.

Red Johnson's Chronicles brings murder, mystery to PSN

That's some style there. That's some serious tang. I love it.

Hopefully the art style is somewhat carried into the game itself, or better yet, they use that video as a sort of serial tv series-style intro thing :P

Australian federal cabinet approves R18+ games rating, passing along to AGs

Dec 5th 2010 12:45PM (Joystiq)
@Shadsy I dunno, I feel like the R-18+ rating might be just made to throw those games who would get rated that to be thrown under the bus, like how Cero Z is in Japan (placed under/behind counters, etc).

GoG discounts Longest Journey, other adventure games this weekend

The Longest Journey is the BEST game ever! :D

Video: Ignition's canceled sci-fi FPS, Reich

Nov 11th 2010 4:20AM (Joystiq)
Its like the game was made for the 90's, but with late 00's technology.

The attitude, the gameplay design (noclip flying, physics), and the quasi-nazi thing with occult/science. It all seems so... not contemporary.

The voice acting is probably just a placeholder, but the motion blur was pretty bad. Worse than HL2's.

PSN's Crescent Pale Mist is actually pretty vivid

@The angry pro consumer gaming ga

Because this is a preexisting Japanese indie title that's being ported with mild alterations to make it look better.

Also, blame Microsoft for setting a $15 precedent.
