I recall an interview a while back where Harmonix was asked if downloadable content would work in a possible Rock Band sequel.

Long story short, they said yes.

I really want to only support Harmonix and Rock Band, but just when you think you're out they pull you right back in. Damn Activision and their deep pockets!

But then again, they could always pull awful Metallica songs for this game. And that could be enough for me to skip this game all together. I don't want to play Invisible Kid.
